Rwanda: Dukunde Kawa Natural

This complex and sweet coffee comes to us through the Dukunde Kawa cooperative's Musasa washing station in Gakenke, Rwanda. Dukunde Kawa has almost 2000 members and four washing stations, as well as a dairy for off-season income, all worker owned. We were introduced to the co-op's work through the One Acre Fund, an organization that helps farmers across the world receive resources and data to improve crop yield.

We enjoy the sweet and syrupy black cherry notes that slowly melt into a milk chocolate sweetness and a golden raisin finish.
