  • Scale
  • Timer (with a stopwatch function)
  1. Weigh out 15g of your favorite Broadsheet coffee and grind on medium fine (slightly finer than pour-over)
  2. Place a filter (paper, metal or one of each depending on your desired mouth feel) into the cap and screw onto the brewing chamber.
  3. Set brewing chamber and vessel (mug or server) on scale, zero scale, dump grounds into chamber and confirm there are 15g. Tare again
  4. Start timer and In one pouring motion, pour 225 of water into the brewing chamber.
  5. Use Aeropress paddle or spoon to stir for 5 seconds. 
  6. Carefully place plunger into chamber, and pull up. Do this step carefully and gently! The goal is to keep the coffee from dripping out the bottom
  7. At 1:30 remove Aeropress and vessel from the scale
  8. Slowly press down. This should take about 30 seconds.
